Salford Care Organisation has a vacancy for a Neuroradiology Fellowship Doctor. The purpose of this post is to provide specialist neuroradiology training to radiologists already on the specialist register who are seeking further experience in a specialist centre. The post holder is required to have full registration with the General Medical Council & a valid licence to practice.
The successful candidate would be expected to be able to independently report core neuroradiology studies, contribute to the duty rota, and provide supervision to radiologists in training. Candidates would perform a full audit cycle into a chosen aspect of their personal clinical practice, complete clinical supervisor training, and would contribute to local radiology teaching.
The successful candidate will be a diagnostic radiologist with some experience in delivering core neuroradiology services. The successful candidate will be based at Salford Care Organisation but may be required to do sessions at another NCA site, depending on the needs of the organisation.
The successful candidate will contribute to the general neuroradiology diagnostic work of the department, to trainee supervision and teaching, and clinical governance activities (Audit / QIP) teaching.
