About the role
We are looking for a Planning Executive to play a key role in shaping our future network & schedule. You will work across the 3 network planning functions Network Development, Scheduling and Slots, to support the creation and delivery of a seasonal schedule at all stages of the planning cycle.
Key functions of the role range from delivering and developing a commercial case for a new route, to coming up with creative solutions to cover the slot portfolio within a seasonal schedule. You will naturally support your decisions with data and be able to articulate your results to the Network Management team.
Maintaining close relationships with resourcing, operations, engineering, and procurement will strengthen your outputs, experience of problem solving, analysis and interpretation of large data sets, from multiple sources is a key requirement.
About you
- Able to think holistically and creatively to solve multidimensional problems
- Experienced in turning commercial insights into deliverable outcomes
- Understanding of the overall BA planning process (across engineering, crewing, ground resourcing commercial) and/or a deep understanding of slot planning
- Good understanding of the BA network and fleet, markets and competitors
- Extensive experience of parts of the network planning process and/or proven ability to quickly get to grips with complex processes
