We are looking for a talented and ambitious Chef De Partie to join us! You will be a vital part in the prep work for our dishes, creation of the specs and the running of a smooth service.So, what does it take to be a good Chef De Partie?Heads up section and as part of the kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and ensure that the presentation and production of food meets all company standards.ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:- A minimum of 1 year as Chef de Partie in a busy high quality restaurant;- Good knife skills Good knowledge of current Food Hygiene legislation;- Good knowledge of culinary techniques;- Understanding and passion for, good quality, well prepared, fresh food;- Previous experience leading a small team or section;- Able to work under pressure and multi task particularly during peak hours and extended period increased business;- Food Hygiene award;- COSHH trained;- H&S award Availability to work late nights and weekends.DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:- NVQ level 2;- First Aid award;Experience of mentoring junior staff.PERSONAL SKILLS:- Team player;- Ambitious;- Hard working;- Shows respect to all colleagues;- Enthusiastic;- Utilises good common sense;- Ability to do multiple tasks;- Patience.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £15.00-£16.00 per hourBenefits:Discounted or free foodFlexitimeSchedule:FlexitimeAbility to commute/relocate:London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
