Conigital is looking for a Software Test Engineer who will be testing the entire software suite. It would be ideal if you can write automation scripts; if not willingness to progress in that direction is highly desirable. You will be responsible for planning and implementing tests that prove the functional and non-functional requirements of the system. You will be working closely with the Product Manager and Technical leads to ensure development and delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse requirements, specifications, and provide timely feedback.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Identify and report issues with appropriate details, support development team to understand/replicate the issue and verify the solution.
- Test individual functionalities to enable sign off at task level.
- Perform end to end, Black box, and regression testing.
- Provide performance report to the Manager(s).
Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in testing, preferably in Manual testing.
- Experience in Automation testing will be preferable
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Basic coding concepts
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence – ability to see the bigger picture.
- Strong communication skills
Nice to have:
- Ability to write automation scripts.
- Familiarity with Node JS (typescript), Flutter, Python, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and React
