Our client is currently looking to recruit a Voice and Data Network Engineer on an initial 6 month contract.
Voice and Data Network Engineer
Bristol – 2 days a week
£450 per inside IR35
The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting both projects and BAU in both Voice and Data Networks and have supported faults across IT Services. Within the role you will support a range of projects including the implementation of a new network infrastructure that will replace out-dated equipment and processes to improve resilience and security.

Key duties include
- To work with both internal and external customers, investigating and providing resolutions to fault reports and work requests initiated from the IT Service Desk, the Project Management Office, Problem Management, and other teams within IT Services.
- Contribute suggestions and recommendations in order to promote ongoing service improvement across the Voice and Data Networks team’s area of speciality and provide a high standard of customer care at all times.
- Ensure that a range of agreed technologies and business applications are available to agreed service levels.
- Monitor the performance, availability and capacity of the network and telephony infrastructure components acting on and escalating this information to maintain an effective network and telephony infrastructure to agreed service levels.
- Monitor the clients call management system, taking responsibility for the tickets assigned to them and ensuring that they are processed and dealt with within the timeframes dictated by existing service level agreements.
