Team Insight:
The Data Systems Infrastructure (DSI) team sits within the ByteDance (TikTok) global technology structure and supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyper-scale datacenters, managing the life cycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services and making sure they are scalable and are reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Support the company's development and maintenance of CDN networks from the perspective of procurement, focusing on bandwidth and IX services purchases, but potentially covering other data center related categories.
• Works with internal customers and stakeholder team(s) to establish robust procurement category strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Source vendors, negotiate pricing, fulfill contracts, resolve issues.
• Work with stakeholders to develop requirements, strategies, and project plans.
• Work with stakeholders to execute projects on a timely manne

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total experience, 3 of which should be relevant experience in consulting, engineering, or procurement in Telecom, cloud computing, IX, or data center. Must have experience with CDN, Colocation, Bandwidth, and Managed Service.
• Intimately familiar with the market trends and business practices of bandwidth, IX and CDN and with carrier networks in the European region.
• Telecom experience preferred. Experience in working with carriers in above mentioned regions is a plus.
• Demonstrated collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, contract negotiation experience.
• Bachelor of science in a technical field.
• Strong analytical and excel skills.
• Impeccable personal and professional integrity.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and to handle complex and under pressure situations.
