Band 4 Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor; Neonatal Services
Due to the expansion of the Neonatal service in Occupational Therapy, we are delighted to be looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to be part of the team as a part time Band 4 Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor.
This new and innovative role would support existing therapists and be involved in developing the early intervention service.
With direction from Occupational Therapists, your role will be to deliver high quality early intervention for babies and their families in a range of therapy treatments and interventions.
You will be supervised by Occupational Therapists and have opportunities to expand your knowledge base and develop skills with the service.
The post holder will work under the supervision of Occupational Therapists carrying out delegated Occupational Therapy intervention plans and will contribute to the planning and evaluation of the intervention plan.
The post holder will plan, provide and observe outcomes for individual and group interventions which support the ongoing assessment and treatment of service user/patients around their Occupational Functioning in the areas of self care, productivity and leisure within the department, in the service user/patients’ home or in community settings i.e. Schools.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
