A New Position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated graphic designer to join our marketing group. This is a highly creative role requiring a minimum of 3 years' experience in digital and print design, with excellent knowledge of design software.
As a core member of our creative team, you will work under the guidance of our Design Director and be involved in various design projects throughout the year, including:
- High-quality direct mail catalogues and product brochures
- Product packaging and point-of-sale materials
- Homepage hero images, carousels, and website content
- Email marketing campaigns
- Digital and print advertising
Job Purpose
Your creativity and attention to detail will play a vital role in maintaining our market-leading position and driving sales growth. You will be expected to adhere to our brand guidelines while also contributing to their evolution to ensure freshness and excellence.
Essential Qualities
- Ability to comprehend initial briefs and further develop them through discussion and trial concepts.
- Confidence to share your ideas with the team and collaborate enthusiastically with others.
- Highly creative at the start of projects while being efficient, practical, and hands-on throughout the implementation.
Essential Experience
You must have previous experience in some or all of the following:
- Product packaging
- Mail-order catalogues and commercial brochures
- Sales leaflets and color newspaper advertisements
- B2C and B2B web pages
- Instructional booklets
Additionally, you should possess a minimum of 3 years' experience as a graphic designer and demonstrate technical proficiency in Adobe software, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Desirable
- Design degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience within the retail industry
- HTML and CSS experience
Remuneration
Salary is negotiable based on your experience. We offer flexible employment options, including full-time, part-time, or freelance positions. Our office is conveniently located between Canterbury and Herne Bay, providing an opportunity to collaborate with our talented in-house creative team. Please note that remote work or home-based arrangements are not currently available.
