About the role

Join the British Airways Engineering NDT Department and you’ll work alongside some of the finest NDT professionals in the industry. If you are passionate about Non Destructive Testing (NDT) and have an ambition to take over the Responsible NDT Level III (RL3) Engineer position for British Airways Engineering, then the role of NDT Technical Engineer will be for you.

The NDT Technical Engineer role will involve supporting the current RL3 Engineer thereby gaining the necessary experience, qualifications and capabilities required to perform the RL3 role. Relevant experience and qualifications in the Aerospace NDT sector is essential.

The Responsible NDT Level III Engineer is designated by the maintenance organisation and responsible to the Accountable Manager, for the technical supervision of Non-Destructive Testing.

This is an exciting time for British Airways as we emerge from the recent Covid pandemic and enter into a new era of Maintenance activities with new technologies.

British Airways operates 24/7 with various shift patterns to fit the operational day. This position has a Mon – Fri days shift pattern.
