Location: Bristol – Offering hybrid working patterns (2 days in our Bristol hub)
*** The base salary banding for this role is £61,911 - £68,790 depending on experience - plus benefits outlined below ***
About the role:
We're the team that looks after the customer data for the whole of Lloyds Banking Group. Our mission is to make this data available for the right purpose with the appropriate confidentiality and always ensuring a phenomenal engineering experience, performances, resilience, and integrity.
The systems we support, underpin almost everything we do as Lloyds Banking Group. We maintain these systems with the highest standard, with an ambition to take ownership of the operational support 24/7 using SRE principles and together we'll make it possible...
So what experience & skills do I need to apply?
It would be essential to have the following:
- 5+ years of combined experience in Java software development, skilled in one or more programming languages
- Experience working with, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, JSON, Microservices.
- Experience working with container environments in particular Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Passionate about continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation (Nexus, GIT, Jenkins)
- Experience in automation and of test automation tools
- Good knowledge of Network Protocols & Security
- Knowledge and experience of agile principles and practices
