Job description
Mercedes-Benz Direct is looking for a punctual and enthusiastic Driver to join our fantastic logistics Team
As a Driver, you should share your passion for our brand every day and immerse customers in the world of Mercedes-Benz. You will collect and deliver vehicles from our holding compound to our preparation centre and back again, providing friendly and attentive service at all times. You may also be required to drive vehicles to one of our 18 Mercedes-Benz retail Dealerships across the country.
Working within the logistics team will mean there will be time when you will be required to perform on site duties such as checking in cars on arrival and handing over cars to sub contract drivers for onward deliveries
About You
Ideally, you will have previous experience working with a premium brand and an understanding of the automotive industry, however, this is not essential. You should have excellent attention to detail as you will checking over each vehicle to ensure your safety when driving, as well as identifying any blemishes or damage on the vehicle. Organisation skills are paramount in this role, as you will be responsible for planning multiple drops with efficiency in mind at all times. Knowledge of the local area will be beneficial as well as excellent navigational skills.
