Paradigm Precision specializes in the manufacturing of complex fabrication and precision machined components for gas turbine engines. We serve customers around the world in commercial and military aviation, power generation, the marine industry, rotary wing, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Purpose/ Summary
Proficient in a minimum of one non-destructive testing technique. Learning more techniques. Techniques such as, but not limited to thermal imaging, magnetic particle testing, fiber-optics, radiographic testing, eddy current, and ultrasonic testing.
Evaluate all materials and parts to ensure they meet quality control standards- Interpret and evaluate all indications
- Investigate and resolve limited technical interpretation queries
- Check all work by mechanical and electronic inspection methods on the production parts, sub-assemblies, details or components as production progresses to determine accuracy and completeness of layouts and correctness of machining or other processing.
- Set up and calibrate nondestructive equipment
- Review drawings, specifications, and procedures
- Perform specialized inspections
- Interpret, evaluate, and report evaluation results
- Create corrective plans for defects where necessary
- Ensure rejected work is repaired or replaced
- Perform routine maintenance checks, reporting improper machine function
- Learn to develop NDT procedures for new products and improve procedures for current products
- Participates in projects
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Shares knowledge willingly with other employees
- Follow all applicable safety rules and precautions.

Minimum qualifications
- NAS410 (National Aerospace Standard) Level II Certification
- 2 years relevant experience
- Working knowledge in the use of inspection equipment
- Able to read, write, and speak in standard English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Knowledge of shop geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Successfully pass vision screen
- Ability to speak effectively before employees in the organization.
- Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude.
Preferred qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in Non-Destructive Testing Technology or related field
- 5+ years relevant experience
