This is an outstanding opportunity offered at Base Support Squadron, Royal Marines Base Chivenor which is both a varied and rewarding position. Person specification
The applicant will be responsible for the storage and maintenance of RMB Chivenor Fire Extinguishers. Primary responsibilities will be to conduct weekly Call Point Fire Alarm testing and ensure logs and registers are accurately maintained. You will receive essential training and mentoring on the Fire Alarm system and Extinguisher maintenance.
Qualifications
Must provide evidence of 3 years’ experience within Supply specialisation or hold a NVQ/SVQ Level 3 competence in Warehousing and Storekeeping.
Essential
Comfortable working with standard Microsoft applications, phone communications and online meeting applications (Skype/ Teams).
Desirable
Experience in Fire Fighting Equipment Maintenance.
