Native arabic speaker for UAE based client - presentation script supervisor Southampton, England
Job description
We are filming around a 3000 word script with a arabic and english speaker presenter for a online app presentation to camera.
I require someone who natively speaks arabic (ideally originally from UAE) to supervise the script as the presenter speaks it.
Usualy the client supplies the script, we usually have to say every word verbatim.
Based on the English speaking script, this will take approx 2 hours.
Its maybe best you come and shadow me film the english script, then you can come back 1 - 1.5 hours later to do the same thing but with the arabic script.
Responsibilities:
Monitor a arabic script as its being spoken.
Adjust speed of the autocue on the fly (using a 10" iPad) to fit the pace.
Clear communication with the camera operator and focus as every word needs to be correct.
Communicate in Arabic and English.
Qualifications:
Experience in a English / Arabic speaking role such as foreign language teacher or media producer preferred but not essential.
