The NIT Administration Assistant will be responsible for working within a project team within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) area. They will report into the Project Lead and be required to complete a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the successful completion of the project.
The project involves onboarding business partners onto a new Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system.

Your New Role
- Working within the National IT department as an Administration Assistant liaising with a project team, end users and business partners
- Communicating with business partners by email, phone and video calling to ensure the successful setup of EDI between them and Aldi
- Completing administrative tasks associated with submitting business partners for EDI onboarding
- Monitoring progress of business partners during EDI onboarding by creating and/or running reports / dashboards
- Supporting End to End testing (E2E) with business partners - e.g. setting up master data records
- Identifying technical End to End testing queries and passing to EDI specialist
- Coordinating escalations with the relevant department(s) and/or 3rd party providers
- Completing any other ad hoc tasks required for the successful completion of the project
About You
- Experience of working within an administrative role
- Ability to learn new topics quickly
- Ability to guide others clearly on the use of complex systems / processes
- Able to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Able to prioritise workload effectively and work under pressure
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Microsoft Office experience, particularly MS Word, Outlook and Excel
- Able to pay close attention to detail
- Keen to take ownership and responsibility of tasks
- Work effectively within a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Logical and efficient
- Experience of working in a fast paced / project environment
What You’ll Get in Return
- Full time starting salary £24,130 rising to £29,685
- 12 months FTC
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - (Part-time hours will be considered with a pro-rated salary)
