Job description
The Operational Delivery Unit (ODU) acts as an on duty central hub for Welsh Ambulance NHS Trust (WAST) and Health Boards providing co-ordination of leadership and leadership across the Welsh Health Care System.
THE ODU provides a link between WAST, Welsh Government and Health Boards through a system-wide view. This role is an on duty senior managerial and tactical level support function for the Operations Directorate that manages real time challenges that have the potential to impact service quality and/or delivery in the immediate and short-term operational setting. To enable and support local teams the ODU can alert them as required to respond to operational matters as well as remain focussed on preparing future operational and longer term strategic plans for territorial areas.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
