Job description
Mckenzies are currently in the phase of substantial growth throughout both N.Ireland and Ireland. We are current in the process of installing a new modern, state or the art shredding plant for ferrous and non ferrous metals.
This has now created a new role within Mckenzies for picking operatives.
What you will be doing:
- Picking from a conveyor within our picking cabins
- Safely operating and be willing to learn the operation of various items of plant on site.
- Learning various grades of metals
- Conducting regular checks on conveyors, plant and work areas, reporting any problems.
- Ensuring the company Health & Safety and environmental policies are strictly adhered to.
- Assisting with cleansing and house keeping duties
- Assisting other duties as required.

Salary: From £11.00 per hour
