Children: 1 Child: B7 years old
Compensation: £200+ per day
Schedule: Thursday - Friday 7am - 9pm
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on a child's life? We are seeking an OFSTED registered SEN Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for a 7-year-old boy with mild autism. This is a part-time position requiring your presence on Thursdays and Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the child.
- Develop and implement personalized activities and routines to support the child's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Foster communication skills and encourage independence while providing appropriate guidance and supervision.
- Support the child in his daily routine, including meals, hygiene, and educational activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with autism or special needs is a big plus.
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and knowledge of strategies to support children with autism.
- OFSTED registration
- Patient, compassionate, and attentive to the child's individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the child, family, and professionals involved.
- Reliable and punctual, committed to the agreed-upon schedule.
Additional qualifications (preferred but not required):
- Relevant certifications or training in special education, early childhood development, or related fields.
- Experience with implementing behavioral support plans or strategies.
- First aid and DBS certification.
