JOB PURPOSE:
The ERP Project Accountant will report to the Business Transformation Manager and will be a core team member within the ERP / SAP Deployment team. The individual will provide technical accounting expertise, leadership and guidance in the development and deployment of ERP systems and processes. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience for business processes and across the diverse accounting fields.
JOB DUTIES:
Key responsibilities include:
- Engages and provides direction, guidance and leadership to other Accounting colleagues and wider team members in executing transformational change management.
- Leads process mapping sessions, develops and coordinates user acceptance testing.
- Develop and implements standards, policies and practices relating to process quality in an Accounting environment.
- Anticipates complex business problems or process optimization opportunities, identifies alternatives, and recommends the best solutions working closely with global functional teams and Business Transformation manager.
- Support and present in Stakeholder / Gateway reviews.
Required Qualification:
- Extensive knowledge in the diverse accounting fields, including Payables/ Receivables, Financial and Management Accounting.
- Strong Project management, team leadership, communication, analytical and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in a job role that demonstrates problem solving skills, leadership capabilities, and experience working with a multi-functional team.
- Work effectively in fast paced global environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Current or prior ERP deployments and major business transformation related programs delivery experience
- 6-Sigma Green / Black Belt
