Job description

A warm, loving, and adventurous Bexley family is seeking a full-time nanny!

Children: Infant, 9 months

Salary: $20 - $25 per hour based on duties and experience.

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 30 Guaranteed hours

Location: Bexley, OH

Start Date: August, 2023

This family is a happy trio with two small dogs, residing in the beautiful community of Bexley. Over the past three years, they have been actively working on a home remodel and have found great joy in their outdoor activities. Their favorite moments are spent together, whether it's going for long walks or watching their little one explore the world around them. They embrace Montessori practices and allow their child the freedom to learn and grow at their own pace. The child is a serious observer but becomes all smiles with the people they love. The family is thrilled to see their child develop curiosity and communication skills, including their growing proficiency in ASL. They believe in the power of music and hope to find a nanny who shares this interest. With their child's increasing mobility and developing taste for food, they look forward to exploring the vibrant events and food truck scene that the city has to offer!

They are ideally looking for a nanny who is patient, caring, and can provide daily support for their child during everyday activities. Like all babies and toddlers, their child is especially connected to them, so they need to find someone who can be their child's "other person" and create a comfortable environment each day. An adventurous spirit is highly valued, as the family enjoys an active schedule with outdoor time. They also seek a nanny who can aid in their child's educational development and actively engage them in various learning needs of a toddler, including emotional, physical, artistic, and communication skills. Respecting the family's wishes of gentle parenting and using respectful communication with their child is essential, particularly in moments of frustration. While they maintain a schedule, their child has struggled with consistent sleep, so experience in effectively managing a sleep schedule within the day-to-day activities is preferred. The family's ultimate goal is to find a nanny who can become a long-term part of their family, providing the same level of care and attention they would provide themselves.
