About us
JJS Fine Art Ltd is a art consultancy run by Jo Spice. The job we are looking to fill is for a nanny / housekeeper to assist whilst I work.
We are looking for an experienced, responsible and proactive Nanny / Housekeeper to provide care for our children. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for our children, helping with homework, preparing meals, engaging in activities and providing transportation to and from school and other activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of all ages, be patient and understanding, and have a genuine love for children. THe Housekeeping duties will be keeping the house clean and tidy, general cleaning duties, laundry, ironing, cooking and errands.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Provide basic care such as feeding, looking after clothes, laundry etc
- Assist with homework and educational activities.
- Create a stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
- Plan activities that are appropriate for the age of the children.
- Ensure the safety of the children at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Keeping on top of food in the fridge, preparation of kids meals and cooking
- Keeping the playroom organised
- Ocassionally looking after and walking the family dog
- Cleaning the house to include vacuuming, mopping, dust and clean surfaces, laundry, bed changing, oversee an ordered airing cupboard.
- Washing dishes, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
