Here at XPO, we’re looking to bring in an Administration Assistant at our Bulk Fuel operations on a full-time, permanent basis. Based out of Thurrock, you’ll operate Tuesday to Saturday across core working hours, 0830-1630.
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of between £21,000 to £23,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Maintain and process the weekly payroll- Maintain the site personnel records including sickness and holiday entitlement
- Ensure all records for employees are accurate and up to date
- Produce weekly and monthly attendance and absence information for Senior Management
- Produce weekly and monthly KPI’s
- Raise invoices
- Raise and issue purchase orders
- Maintain the purchase order system and ensure the timely receipting of goods
- Control stock and reordering levels of stationary
- Provide support to the administration team in times of holidays and absence
- Carry out any other ad hoc duties as required
What you need to succeed at XPO:
Possess good keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Office in particular Excel- Display good administration skills and an analytical approach
- Have a confident and responsible approach when dealing with general enquiries from both internal and external sources
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative within a small team
- Be able to demonstrate flexibility and commitment
