This is an exciting opportunity to join the HSCM volunteer services Team in Moray as an Administrator. You will be will be expected to provide a comprehensive, confidential, efficient, and high quality secretarial service to the Volunteer Coordinator and promote the smooth day to day running of the service and the wider Volunteer services to allow our NHS volunteers to carry out their role effectively. You will be required to undertake a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties including transcription of confidential information in conjunction with NHS systems. You should possess the appropriate secretarial/administration qualifications or equivalent/training experience. Knowledge of NHS terminology and proficiency with Microsoft Word would be advantageous, as well as excellent keyboard skills. We have a large number of NHS volunteers that support Dr Gray’s and our three community hospitals as well as other services across Moray. This role would be essential to support the Volunteer Coordinator with recruitment, events and general day to day operations required to run the volunteer service successfully, as well as helping the service develop and adapt to requirements. The post holder will be able to demonstrate effective administration and secretarial skills and be willing to undertake further training. You will be supervised by the Volunteer Coordinator. The HSCM volunteer service is well-established with robust supervision, mentoring, quality review and audit frameworks and we strive to provide an excellent service. We also have close working relationships with our hospitals and multidisciplinary colleagues in Moray and across NHS Grampian as well as national links.
