We are looking for an assistant for our music centre. Your main role is to support and assist our music tutors with their lessons, oversee enrolments and keep students records up to date. An interest in music would benefit any candidate and some musical knowledge is required.
Requirements
- You will be required to assist tutors during lessons.
- You will ensure all enrolments records are completed.
- You will support tutors to ensure assessment records are kept up-to-date and targets are met.
- You must have good organisational skills.
- You must have the ability to work using your own initiative, be able to communicate with a variety of age groups and have extensive knowledge and related skills.
- You must have the ability to research and produce teaching resources to maintain high standards of learning.
- No formal qualification necessary, though some prior experience is essential
- You may be required to work at any of our centres in Grays and Dagenham.
You must be prepared to:
- liaise with tutors and students parents.
- greet everyone with a welcoming smile.
- support tutors during the lessons.
- join an enthusiastic and professional team.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is dependant on skills and experience. The lessons are planned to run on Saturday's and is for an immediate start.
Instruments taught are - piano, classical guitar and drums.
