Are you looking to work in new and exciting ways bringing your early years skills and knowledge into an exciting, rewarding and transformational cultural environment?
Bradford Museums & Galleries is seeking an Early Years Assistant to develop, test and deliver a new Early Years curriculum as part of our Arts Council England National Portfolio programme.
Recently awarded Arts Council England National Portfolio status we aim to meet the experiential needs of our surrounding communities and help drive forward the museum service’s development and leading role for the 2025 City of Culture.
NPO funding acknowledges the potential for our world-class collections and our three year (REPLACEMENT_STRING26) development process will transform the service and see us working with a wide range of local community partners to deliver programmes which are both relevant and engaging for the diverse communities across the District.
- The Early Years Assistant will play a key role in the Learning Team and will be working in partnership to ensure that early years setting, schools and families have access to ambitious, heritage and cultural learning experiences.
- You will be responsible for the development, testing and delivery of an exciting new Early Years Curriculum with the exhibitions and collections at the heart of all programming.
- You will work with wider Museums & Galleries team to build relationships with key stakeholders, including identified early years practitioners, nurseries, schools and community partners to facilitate partnership opportunities with them.
Bradford Museums & Galleries is committed to diversifying our workforce and we are seeking to broaden our thinking and improve representation in our team.
We particularly welcome applications from D/deaf, disabled and neuro-divergent people, people from ethnically diverse communities and people from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds.
Working across our four venues; Bolling Hall, Bradford Industrial Museum, Cliffe Castle Museum and Cartwright Hall Art Gallery within the Bradford District, you will need to be able to combine high professional standards with great people skills and a flexible and proactive approach to working.
