The successful person will be responsible for welcoming guests, patrolling the area, keeping the space clean and tidy and ensuring nobody touches the historic artefacts on display.

Salary: £24,000

Hours of work: 08:30 -18:30 across 4 days ( 4 on / 4 off ) Mon to Sun

• Provide a high level of customer service at all times
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the exhibition space - escalating any issues and concerns to the Operations teams where required.
• Ensure the exhibition space kept tidy and the space to maintain the excellent appearance of the area - polishing handrails and dusting the exhibition information stations.
• Collaborate with the on-site café team to ensure safe access of visitors, staff and contractors.
• Protect the artefacts by ensuring the guests maintain a respectful distance from the wall and other historic pieces on display
• Deal with issues or incidents and calling the emergency services when needed.
• Understand the importance of Health & Safety and Fire Safety in all that you do and report anything that is not safe.
• Other adhoc tasks which occur throughout the annual life-cycle.
