Premier-Education is offering the opportunity for a Sports coach to join our team.
As the UK’s No.1 activity provider to primary schools, we have over 20 years' experience providing activity sessions to thousands of primary schools across the UK.
we aim to support the specific curriculum intent of our partner schools, also synchronising with the National Curriculum purpose and aims for PE. Therefore, key to the overarching curriculum design will be a range of opportunities to support children’s development in being creative, confident, and caring. This aligns with a high-quality, inspiring PE curriculum that builds character and an understanding of fairness and respect.
The Role:
3 / 10 hours a week.
We are looking for a sports coach to play an important within our team at Premier-education.
The role will involve the delivery of our extra-curricular activities alongside our holiday provision during the half terms. This post will be ideal for a candidate who is proactive, can motivate and inspire children.
There will be plenty of opportunities for professional development and the chance to build a wide range of skills around support for children’s learning and their all-round development.
The successful candidate(s) will demonstrate:
- A relevant coaching qualification Level 2 (or above) and/or degree is essential
- Proven Skills and experience working with children 5 to 11
- A positive and proactive coach who has good interpersonal skills
- Child Protection Certificate
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Experience and knowledge of working with children & young people
Interviews:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a 1st stage interview where you will be asked a number of question relating to the post. We would then like to invite candidates to a School venue where you will be asked to deliver an activity to a group of children as part of the process, as well as a range of literacy, communication and competency tasks.
