We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing Renewable Energy Company based just outside of Carlisle, Cumbria in the position of Multiskilled Field Engineer (Renewable Energy Systems).

The core of our business is the installation and maintenance of Biomass Boilers & Solar Systems though we are at the forefront of our sector and are working with new Renewable technologies.
Summary of Role:
The Renewable Energy Systems Engineer (Multiskilled) will be working alongside the existing engineering team as well as the Company Directors & Ops Manager to ensure the smooth running of the many biomass and Solar Systems that we maintain across the Country.
You will be responsible for your own company vehicle stock. You will be working both on your own and as part of a team to provide installation and maintenance services to Biomass Boiler systems ranging from 15kW to 500kW and Solar Systems from 2kW to 200kW as well as other renewable energy systems.
The role is hands on and requires a wide range of engineering understanding to allow effective problem solving and maintenance services to the equipment that we maintain.
This role will be on the road day to day with a requirement to come to base most mornings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Servicing & maintenance of Biomass Boiler Systems.
- Servicing & maintenance of Solar PV & Solar Thermal Systems.
- Servicing & maintenance of M&E Systems (Plumbing & Electrcial)
- Reporting & recommendations of proactive maintenance plans for all equiptemnt.
- Installation of all of the above systems.
- Ensuring good reporting of personal van stock control.
- The sharing of skills and knowledge gained throughout our team.
- You will be on added to the on-call rotor to provide 24 hour support to our clients.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have experience with biomass boilers or other similar commercial equipment. They should be competent with electrical, plumbing and mechanical engineering with a good problem solving mindset.
