Motor Claims Administrator
£28,511 to £30,504 plus a Location allowance of £1,721. You will receive £28,511 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £30,504 will be via incremental progression.

Three opportunities have arisen within the Insurance and Claims team for individuals with insurance claims handling background in the RTA sector, to join our department: two permanent positions and one position on a two-year fixed term.
The successful applicants will be part of a specialist team of four responsible for dealing with fault and non-fault claims made by or against third party drivers or their insurers.
This role is required to support personal injuries claims handlers and the management team in meeting operational targets, and in addition, to identify and develop training needs.
The role holder will liaise with third party drivers, their insurers, and other representatives to settle vehicle repair, and replacement claims including credit hire, total loss, and recovery claims. Through their negotiations and assessment, they will be trusted to make decisions within the relevant legal claims framework to support activities such as case management, being a contact for general day-to-day enquiries, addressing and escalatingqueries and complaints in line with internal procedure.
These are full time posts where the successful candidates would be expected to work from the office for two out of the five working days in the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling third party motor claims (including credit hire) from notification through to settlement
- Establish where liability for the accident rests and investigate the validity of third-party claims
- Updating the claims system with clear and accurate records of progress on the claim, leaving diary messages for any next steps and timeframes
- Manage all aspects of third-party vehicle damage and third-party property damage claims presented by a third party directly or via solicitors, insurers, and accident management companies
- Handle all aspects of credit hire claims also from Non-ABI GTA Insurers
- Pursue recovery of our Insurer Clients’ outlay where liability on a claim may be attributed to a third party.
