WBS is looking for a talented and creative Motion Graphics & Video Production Assistant to work with the Digital Communications Production Manager to produce video, audio and graphic content that support WBS’s ambitious student recruitment strategy and raises awareness of the school’s thought leadership.
The role is multi-skilled, requiring the ability to plan, create and self-produce content to current online and broadcast standards. Filming, video editing and motion graphics experience is essential for this role. Under the direction of the Digital Communications Production Manager, the post holder will work as a supervised producer/director, camera operator and video/audio editor. You will undertake interviews and filming both on and off campus and at our base in The Shard in London. The role is varied and offers lots of opportunity to showcase your creative and technical skills whilst helping to fulfil the agreed yearly film plan.
The post holder will work independently and collaboratively with others in the Marketing team to create innovative content which is used on our website, in digital and social media adverts, on social media and in broadcast adverts.
This role requires frequent to travel to our London base at The Shard and some international travel throughout the year.

Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To work as a supervised producer/director, camera operator, motion graphics creator and video/audio editor, and deliver content in appropriate formats.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with digital team to achieve required volume and range of content for WBS, working to agreed schedule and budget and ensuring all content meets the quality, educational and innovation ambitions of WBS.
2. Pre-production – develop and research ideas, produce storyboards, communicate ideas to digital team, academics and other contributors.
3. Review and evaluate film requests from across the business school.
4. Self-produce video and audio recording content including set up, lighting and filming, ensuring highest editorial and technical standards.
5. Edit video and audio content into appropriate formats, including various social media platform specifications.
6. Keep up to date records and maintain an archive of digital content.
7. Keep audio/visual/editing kit in good order, ensure supplies are procured in a timely manner.
8. Upload content onto specified channels.
9. Project coordination on larger projects.
10. Contribute to the Recruitment & Marketing editorial and creative strategy.
11. Deal with third party vendors e.g. equipment suppliers, subscription platforms etc.
12. Attend meetings with internal staff and external agencies as required.
13. Travel to locations to undertake filming as required.
