Job description
```Duties:
- Assist clients in obtaining mortgage loans by analyzing their financial situation and recommending suitable loan products
- Collect and review financial documents from clients to determine their eligibility for mortgage loans
- Calculate mortgage payments, interest rates, and other relevant financial information using basic math skills
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process, explaining the terms and conditions of different loan options
- Collaborate with underwriters and loan processors to ensure timely and accurate processing of mortgage applications
- Maintain knowledge of current mortgage regulations and industry trends to provide up-to-date advice to clients
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources to generate new business opportunities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the mortgage industry preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in basic math calculations and 10-key typing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with mortgage software systems is a plus
