The role is responsible for forecasting, planning and implementing an ongoing sales strategy to support business growth, as well as leading, motivating and monitoring the sales activities and performance of the Sales team in line with LBR’s values. You will use strategic thinking and planning skills to identify growth opportunities and work with wider internal stakeholders to ensure growth is achieved. You will also play a key role in developing your product to ensure it continues to meet the needs of your market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement team annual sales plans based on delivery of large portfolio of annual reports
- Recruit, train and motivate team members
- Develop, implement and track both personal and team plans to maximise new business opportunities by developing sales to meet revenue targets.
- Achieve sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales quotas for your team
- Provide regular and accurate forecast reporting as required.
- Develop strong cross-organisational relationships (research, production, finance, marketing, IT, editorial, content dev etc.)
- Strong management skills with the ability to motivate team members, manage performance, and drive a culture of sales excellence.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5+ years experience in B2B sales or account management, several of which should be in a management/leadership role, ideally in legal or professional services.
- Proven track record of managing a high performing sales team.
- Proven track record of excellent planning and organisational skills
