Overview
Brand new opportunity in 2023 for a talented Music / Festival events professional to join one of the UK's largest music / festival / event owners and organisers. Their portfolio includes several internationally based, large-scale festivals, alongside a multitude of UK-based events. Their pioneering events incorporate the highest production values for the biggest global artists as well as providing a platform for new talent.
Role Responsibilities:
- Main point of communication between all internal and external stakeholders
- Liaising with production, booking, marketing, sponsorship, design, and PR teams
- Responsible for feeding project information to Directors on a regular basis
- Co-ordinate the planning/assessing of all project elements
- Generating creative ideas to enhance the brand
- Maximizing revenue streams
- Generating and tracking project deadlines
- Implementing processes for project execution for e.g., meetings and shared digital information
- Flagging project risks
- Motivating and tracking general project teams
- Managing and overseeing work executed by wider project team members
- Liaising with Directors on budget tracking
- Liaising with ticketing co-ordinator on monitoring sales and tiers
- Ensuring the project delivers targets set by leadership team
Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 5 years experience in managing multi-faceted projects
- Experience with managing large internal and external teams
- Live event experience preferred
- Curatorial experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be a people-person, able to establish strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills
- Maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail
- Manage all tasks seamlessly under pressure
- Seek out creative outcomes, remaining solution-focussed at all times
- Be a team player, working collaboratively, and cross functionally
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (negotiable on level and experience)
Location: Remote (Main head office is in London, but you can be based from anywhere in the UK)
Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm (Expected to work longer hours or weekends during peak volume times)
