Job description
Newton Colmore is working with an exciting techbio company in Cambridge who are looking for a molecular biologist to join their research team.
Upon joining the company, you will be using your molecular biology knowledge to help with the qualification of the company’s assembly processes and oligonucleotide synthesis. Your work will be integral to the successful development and launch of their new platform and will require interactions and a good level of communication across many scientific disciplines.
Coupled with those responsibilities you will use your practical experience to service their tried and trusted high throughput analytical pipelines.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have the following;
· Hands-on experience utilising molecular biology methods (DNA / RNA extraction; RT-PCR; qPCR; cloning technologies).
· Experience and working knowledge of next generation sequencing.
· Have previously worked with automated liquid handling systems.
· As a minimum be educated to BSc level in molecular biology or a closely related subject.
