The MVNO Team provide proactive and reactive support to our Mobile customers. Proactive support is provided by monitoring the quality of the overall services Vodafone offers to its customers and take a proactive approach to resolving service-impacting faults before our customers feel the pain. In the event of a reactive complaint, an email is sent in via MVNO Customer Operations teams, Wholesale or directly by the MVNO customer base. The MVNO team will manage that fault until conclusion, or if it needs to be raised to our supporting teams, we will retain ownership of the customer communication updates until conclusion. This includes Mobile services such as Voice, Data, Messaging, Roaming, IVR, Digitalk, Wholesale CDR and IT engagement and many more.
What you'll do
The MVNO Engineer is to be the technical lead for their MVNO Shift pattern. The team is continuously evolving, and this role will be responsible for ensuring their shift pattern, is kept up to speed with changes. Provide technical back up to the MSAT Shift Team for secure related activities.
Troubleshoot complex faults raised via MVNO estate.- Work with Senior engineer and supporting teams to drive root cause analysis to identify corrective actions and permanent fixes.
- Work closely with the MVNO Senior Engineer to identify and roll out training for capability gaps.
- Monitor queue and ensure customer faults are being progressed, ensuring our SLAs are being met.
- Build strong working relationships with all areas within Vodafone Network Operations, Wholesale, MVNE, IT, our MVNO partners and Networks to improve efficiency.
- Supporting and being technical backup for secure activities undertaken by MSAT.
Who you are
Understanding of Networking, spanning Voice and Data Mobile networks including Voicemail SMS, MMS- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw insights from a large volume of diverse data
- Be self-driven, leading your own development
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and vocal communication skills.
- SC Clearance or eligible to apply is a must. 5 Years minimal within the UK.
