Brief Description
Deliver prompt and effective response to all real time Railway Operations and front line response activities.
About the role (External)
Key AccKey Accountabilities:
1. Attend accidents / incidents affecting the safe Operation of the infrastructure as directed by route control.
2. Where necessary and appropriate, undertake the role of Rail Incident Officer [RIO], take responsibility for the command structure being set-up and lead the co-ordination of the infrastructure and service restoration activities.
3. Collate information and evidence to support initial investigations into incidents and provide reports as directed.
4. Provide incident response cover for other Mobile Operations Managers (MOMs) as directed.
5. Undertake operational support duties as required to include, but not limited to - Performance monitoring, seasonal duties, contingency planning, audit work and supporting engineering / maintenance works.
6. Maintain response equipment in good mechanical order and keep vehicles safe, clean and tidy.
7. Undertake duties in response to Route crime, including graffiti removal as required. Liaise with BTP in response to such incidents.
8. Assist the Operations Team with all Operational requirements as directed to include, but not limited to Deputy Duties, location visits, competency evidence and Operations Manual procedures.
9. Where competent work signalling locations as directed.
10. Represent Network Rail and the industry with our Lineside and 3rd party Neighbours.

Salary: Grade 7 - £43,831
