Vines of Guildford are looking for a MINI Business Manager (12-month fixed-term contract).
Your role
An exciting and rare opportunity has become available to join Vines of Guildford on a 12-month fixed-term contract as a MINI Brand Manager. We are looking for someone who has the potential to be an influential people manager with the ability to lead, inspire, develop and grow the well-established team.
This is an excellent chance to take on the management and development of a top-performing team.
In addition to people management, you will also be responsible for the day-day running of the sales function for the MINI brand. This includes maximising sales and profitability of vehicles and associated products through the satisfaction and retention of customers through the Vines BMW experience. Other duties include:
- Develop, manage and refine new and used vehicle sales, ensuring all sales departments achieve profit targets, maintain margins and control expenses as detailed in budgets and business plans.
- Maximise the sales and profitability of vehicles and associated products through the satisfaction and retention of customers.
- Leading, coaching, and supporting an established sales team, to drive a successful business strategy.
- Create an environment where the department and its staff develop and excel.
- Ensure cost-effective utilisation of showroom and forecourt sales space.
- Maximise sales of financial and insurance products, added value items, extras and accessories.
- Monitor advertising and all forms of marketing to ensure that it provides the best value for money.
- Formulate sales targets for all sales executives and ensure that these are achieved.
- Ensure that customer complaints are investigated and promptly resolved.
Salary & OTE (On target earnings): £35,000 basic & £60,000 on target earnings.
Your profile
As our MINI Brand Manager, you will be skilled in selling and possess knowledge and experience in the retail motor industry. You will have the ability to create a workplace environment and culture that allows all staff to develop and excel to their full potential.
You will have exceptional customer-facing and interpersonal skills to enable difficult situations to be overcome successfully. It is sales after all so the ability to negotiate effectively, build relationships and remain positive under pressure is a must.
