MIG Fabricator Welder - Working Supervisor
Daventry, NN11 8UF.
3 month temporary to permanent position.
Mon-Fri: 7.30 to 16.00

With that in mind, this is a fantastic opportunity for a MIG fabricator welder - working supervisor to join the company supporting a major project to fabricate a range of pieces for the automotive industry.
Duties
As a suitably experienced and qualified MIG fabricator welder you will be working in a clean, modern, well equipped workshop in Daventry. Primary responsibilities will be to oversee a small team of fabricator welders to fabricate metalwork from technical drawings, specifically; loading jigs, tacking, then welding up the assembled components. Typically MIG welding, tubular, rectangular and square section with the associated plate and mesh infills. Other duties will include the fabrication and MIG welding of pipework spools, structural steelwork and secondary steelwork all from drawings provided.
About You
You will ideally be living in Daventry/Coventry/Northampton, or within a short commutable distance of NN11 8UF.
For the first 8 weeks you will need to work from the company's workshop in Bickenhill, B26 3QJ for which travel expenses will be paid.
Demonstrable experience of fabrication and MIG welding within a workshop environment is essential for this role.
Proof of previous MIG welding codings are preferred but aren't essential as you will be coded by the company.
The ability to work under EN1090 structural steel guidelines would be advantageous.

In return for your experience, you will receive a salary between £17.00 PAYE and £19.00 PAYE as well as a range of other benefits, including travel expenses while commuting to the Birmingham workshop.
