Band 5 £26,104 - £32,915 per annum pro rata
Band 6 £ £33,072 - £40,736 per annum pro rata
An exciting opportunity has arisen for band 5/6 midwives to work in NHS Tayside.
In Tayside we put women at the centre of our maternity service and, aim to provide the best care for women and their families.
We pride ourselves on the standard of care we provide to our women and their families and ensure high quality and safe care through strong leadership and a team approach.
Our maternity services are on an exciting journey to implement full caseloading midwifery teams who will care for women at home, in our stand alone midwife led units and our consultant led unit and you will be part of these teams working collaboratively to promote the delivery of evidence based women centred care.
We are recruiting into a number of midwife positions and offer this as an excellent opportunity to join our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team within the maternity services in NHS Tayside. We deliver our midwifery services across our three sites within NHS Tayside; Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with inpatient services, labour suite and Dundee Midwifery Unit, Perth Community Midwife unit and Arbroath Community Midwife unit in Angus. We provide community support in the midwifery units, home and GP surgeries. We also have a vibrant maternity triage and day assessment unit. Successful applications will have the option to work in their preferred geographical area.
We are looking for innovative Band 5/6 midwives who are passionate about promoting normality and continuity of care in all settings and who want to develop their midwifery expertise, to join our friendly, supportive, award winning and motivated midwifery team.

There are full-time and part time opportunities (hours to be discussed at interview), with a commitment to day / night rotation / on calls as required by clinical area.
A generous relocation package may be available in some circumstances. Limited hospital accommodation may be available at Ninewells Hospital on a first-come-first-served basis.
