Middle Office Analyst
Glasgow
As a Barclays Middle Office Analyst, you will handle a wide range of trade support and fund administration duties. You will play a crucial role in delivering change projects, and you will work in a team that undertake several functions including reconciliations, trade processing, settlements, price capture and verification, NAV shadowing, NAV and cash flow receipt monitoring, corporate action, fee processing and MI/KRI production. Lastly, your team supports Change Delivery and New Products to meet the changing needs of the business.

• Providing trade support for portfolios investing in a wide range of exchange traded assets
- Overseeing pre-matching and trade affirmation against Counterparties
- Ensuring trade notifications are sent and received by administrators and booked in a timely and accurate fashion
- Ensuring timely settlement of trades and cash movements between counterparties
- Overseeing trade, position, and cash reconciliations, investigating and resolving breaks as appropriate
- Overseeing the sign-off of fund valuations in line with internal PnL expectations
What we’re looking for:
• Proven Advanced excel
- Broad SWIFT knowledge
- Process and system design knowledge
- Proven ability to Demonstrate maths and logic skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Proven MS Access or SQL skills
- Broad knowledge of Fund/Asset Management processes
- Excellent knowledge of Fund Accounting principles and practices
- Broad knowledge of and experience dealing with the following asset types- Funds, Equities, Bonds, FX, Futures
