Microsoft Azure Migration Engineer

Location: Hybrid

Contract: Initial 3 months – likely to extend for a further 12 months

The role:

• Working with the Microsoft Azure Migration Project Manager, execute and support the migration of a legacy on-premise environment to a new cloud-based architecture using Microsoft Azure.
• You will be responsible for supporting the migration of data, applications and live services to Microsoft Azure, working closely with IT Services teams to ensure that interruption to live service is minimised.
• You will also perform the migration Active Directory objects to the new Azure AD, and work closely with users to ensure minimal disruption.

Candidates Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a similar role
• Advanced in Azure & Active Directory
• Experience in migration/divestment

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance, Temporary contract

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Reading: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
