Job SummaryThe Management Information Assistant Manager is part of the Performance Reporting team and is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a suite of reporting aimed at providing accurate and up-to-date client, performance, and operational information for decision making and client engagement. The Management Information Assistant Manager will have a familiarity with numerous KPMG and client systems and will use their experience in report development to create innovative reporting solutions for both client stakeholders and KPMG colleagues. The role will require the Assistant Manager to be comfortable communicating and providing data-driven analytical reports and insights to non-technical stakeholders, senior managers, and clients. Experience working collaboratively in a team to achieve a collective goal, building relationships, and coordinating across diverse functions is key to the success of the role. Work within the Performance Reporting team to effectively deliver a range of daily, weekly and monthly reports to key stakeholders and clients.Support the Performance Reporting team to migrate all manual reports by designing, documenting and implementing automated solutions.Work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to continuously create, maintain and develop the reporting suite.Provide ad-hoc analysis and data to enable key stakeholders to make informed decisions based on robust data and operational insight. Enable the transition of ad-hoc analysis into long term reporting capabilities. Manage data quality to protect the integrity and data accuracy of all reports issued by the Performance Reporting team. Proactively identify any data gaps and translate technical issues into practical solutions by thoroughly understanding the relationship between business processes and the data model. Work closely with stakeholders and end users to resolve process issues and implement technical solutions.Provide a point of contact for clients to gain access to any external reporting following strict security criteria and be responsible for the maintenance of user access lists.Ensure work complies fully with all security and contractual requirements and codes of practice.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a reporting development role, including work within a Management Information or Business Intelligence team in an operational support environment.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel reporting to include pivot tables, and advanced functions. Experience with VBA preferred but not essential.Intermediate knowledge of MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and querying using SQL.Proven experience of interactive dashboards design and creation in Power BI is essential.An understanding of SSIS processes is preferable but not essential.Proven ability to get to grips with different data architectures and schemas is vital as well as the ability to explain these concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience in gathering business requirements to achieve reporting objectives.Demonstrate strong relationship building and communication skills.Have strong data manipulation and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.Be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, and manage multiple project simultaneously.Have creative and innovative problem-solving skill.Be able to work effectively within a remote working environment.
