Accounts Administrator

£28,000 (pro rata) per annum, Part-time : Flexible 25 to 30 hours per week, Permanent, BS11 Avonmouth Bristol, Bonus, Holidays, pension, Parking and plus further benefits.

A market leading supplier to the construction based industry who are actively seeking a part-time accounts assistant to join their team. Working within an accounts team of two but within a wider team of 20, you will be working in a very employee focused and personal team in a business that has been established for over 100 years. With the full support of a finance manager, this role will see you carry out duties such as :

Operation of Purchase ledger including invoicing entering, matching up invoices, setting up of monthly payment runs.
Solving any supplier queries with regards to invoicing and distribution of remittance advice.
Inputting Payments
Bank reconciliation
Assisting in payment runs
Checking and sending supplier and client statements
Assisting in month end accounts (full training will be provided)
Answering accounts queries via telephone and email
General additional administrative tasks supporting the accounts team

The successful accounts administrator will have a need to hold accounts receivable experience and additional accounts experience would be beneficial. You will have a need to be proficient within the use of Sage or other accounts packages, Microsoft packages and be a confident IT user. This would be the ideal role for someone who has worked as an accounts assistant, accounts administrator or finance assistant.

Full training and support will be given by the finance manager on Sage. Additional training within accounts duties will be given. Further career progression will be available if wanted moving forward.
