Are you a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner or Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner looking for a role that offers flexibility as well as paying HCAS? Would you like to be a part of a new and exciting Team within an expanding CAMHS service?
We are looking for a qualified (or due to qualify) EMHP to join our team based at Fir Tree House in Slough.
The role has been designed In line with the Government’s priority to increase access and availability of mental health & wellbeing support for children and young people. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors in England.
We also do a lot of “whole school approach” work where we offer staff training, community outreach and both parent & pupil workshops. This role offers a lot of autonomy, and we require the practitioner to manage their own diary.
We can offer training within different therapeutic models including compassion focussed therapy as well as offering good CPD opportunities and support to undertake internal training.
This is a hybrid role split between schools, office and home working and offers a Monday to Friday 9-5 working pattern. We are open to applications from those looking for both full and part time work.

- Deliver evidence-based intervention for children and young people in education setting with mild to moderate mental health problems
- Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services
- Supporting and facilitating staff in education settings to identify and where appropriate manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing
- Working with and within education environments to afford better access to specialist mental health services
- As a qualified EMHP be confident in the use of CYP IAPT principles, evidence-based interventions and routine outcome measures.
