About the Opportunity..

We are currently recruiting for a Merchandising Analyst Admin to join our commercial team based in Watford.

As a Merchandising Analyst Admin, you will be responsible for reviewing store performance to ensure stock is in the correct location at the correct time to maximise sales opportunities. You will also carry out analysis to support the Merchandising teams.

What you’ll be doing..

Review and Research

  • Work cross-functionally to develop a good understanding of the customer
  • Undertake store visits on a regular basis and feedback any appropriate actions to relevant teams

Strategy:

  • Work with the Senior Merchandise Analyst to provide analysis to support & challenge the Brand Strategy
  • Challenge existing procedures and identify new sales and profit opportunities

Range Planning & Build:

  • Oversee the expansion into new stores with the support of the Senior Merchandise Analyst
  • Manage new store stock builds process’ providing regular updates to the Senior Merchandise Analyst
  • Propose appropriate actions for delivery delays impacting new store builds
  • Coordinate communication between merchandising, retail, Visual Merchandising and logistics to ensure credible store launches
  • Analyse performance of new stores proposing changes as appropriate
  • Work in conjunction with the Merchandise Analyst and product teams to review department/category performance

Analysis

  • Carry out analysis under the direction of the Senior Merchandise Analyst to support & challenge the brand Merchandise planning & trading decisions
  • Use initiative to develop existing analytics and propose new
  • Work collaboratively with the Branch Merchandise and Central Trading teams to ensure key business KPI’s are delivered

Leadership:

  • Form strong relationships with the Merchandising team’s
  • Deputise at weekly team meetings with the Merchandising Admin Assistant to support them with training and ensuring business priorities are communicated

What you’ll need

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Experience within an analytical role ideally within retail or clothing
  • Able to to build strong relationships and can work cross-functionally
  • Confident in challenging across all levels and able to respond positively when challenged back
  • Good organisation and time management

Salary: Up to £34,501.00 per year
