Department overview:
Established in 2016 the Digital department has undergone rapid expansion as it strives to deliver an aggressive roadmap alongside equally aggressive revenue aspirations.
The brand is committed to delivering global revenues of €0.5bn from digital and channels over the next few years. Central to that growth is the Digital Commerce team located in London (UK), that currently manages eight localized transactional websites, servicing 50 countries (and growing) including UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Australia, Singapore, India, UAE, South Africa and more.
Who You Are:
A highly commercial, detail-oriented person with strong organization, communication and management skills, able to work well to deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
What You’ll Do:
The Ecommerce Site Merchandiser will maximise sales and visitor conversion across all Michael Kors EMEA International E-commerce sites and channels via effective site merchandising, content planning and detailed analysis for your section of categories.
- Execute site merchandising strategies based on collective evaluations of defined KPIs, to agreed timescales
- Supporting the management of the e-commerce content calendar for your categories, for each e-commerce site.
- Ensure each planner is completed in a timely manner and all changes and updates are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Effectively manage all product upload activities for the websites. Coordinate with cross functional teams to gather all necessary data for product to go live and coordinate EU-only merchandise with US partners to ensure all stocked products are online in time and in full.
- Coordinating & supporting creative briefs for site content including site refreshes, Email, special projects, A/B tests, sales/promotions, and editorial content.
- Complete weekly website reviews and audits to ensure the highest standards of excellence, consistency and optimized performance across all sites and channels
- Ensure that all products are merchandised within the correct categories, and commercially presented online, working with US counterparts to influence EU specific requirements.
- Support the cross functional management of the customer experience with a continuous review of improvement opportunities across all aspects of the user journey and user experience
- Oversee the optimization of the on-site search, and intelligent recommendations.
- Proactively develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the US web merchandising team and web production teams
- Ensure a clear and consistent flow of communication
- Continually collaborate, share best practice and identify conversion driving opportunities.
- Report Daily/weekly against site metrics and key KPIS, ensuring actions can be take each week to drive incremental conversion and therefore sales opportunity
- Produce ad-hoc and post event analysis of all site key activities, identifying actionable insights.
- Supporting the Concession Co-Ordinator to ensure products are loaded and displaying on partner sites following the critical path.
- Overseeing the coordinators’ day to day tasks, providing support and training.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Extensive experience in an e-com site merchandising role ideally within an international retail environment.
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Advanced skillset for extracting and utilising data from a web metrics tool (Ideally Adobe Omniture)
- Experience managing e-com toolsets such as Reflektion (recommendation tool), Dynamic Yield, Endeca, Salesforce (desirable) an advantage.
- Strong PC Skills – Advanced Excel, Word, Powerpoint
