Job description

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all services detailed within the contract are adhered to, delivered and where possible enhanced to meet and exceed the clients, customers and company expectations
  • Continually review the performance of each contract and their profitability
  • Ensure costs are controlled but that they don’t affect the service quality and delivery
  • Food is of the highest standard and in line with the current high street trends
  • Manage and support the development, progress and performance of all line reporting managers
  • Support the sales function in retaining and obtaining new business
  • Compliance with all Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures and standards
The Ideal Candidate

Ideal candidate

  • Previous experience in managing and developing teams
  • Client relationship management
  • Excellent stakeholder management, both internally and externally
  • Experience dealing with HR matters, ie grievances & performance
  • IT Literate
  • Full clean driving licence

Package Description

We are looking to appoint an experienced and driven Operations Manager to oversee a specific area in and around Cambridge, overseeing catering operations for a region of Primary & Secondary school contracts. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading our teams in delivering an excellent food operation, meeting and exceeding the client’s expectations.

  • 40 hours per week
  • Highly competitive salary
  • Company car or mileage expense paid
  • 52 weeks per year
  • Annual bonus scheme dependent on performance
  • Based in and around the following locations - Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Haverhill, Sudbury, Ipswich
  • Covering circa 20-25 sites
