Job description
As a key member of the department you will be involved in all aspects of the purchasing process from forecasting, order placement through to delivery. Playing a vital role in the purchasing and inventory management across three warehouse locations in Europe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Critical Path Management
- Maintaining critical path documents to monitor adherence to planned ex-work dates.
- Liaise with suppliers on a weekly basis to monitor the critical path and report any potential issues
Import Freight Management (UK)
- Communicating with freight forwarders and UK goods in team to ensure all deliveries are planned and booked in accordance with company guidelines.
- Review weekly consolidated shipments for approval.
- Building inbound transit records to receive in stock. Raising POs to finance for inbound freight costs

Inventory Management
- Supporting the demand planning process for new and existing products
- Running monthly demand planner reports to review sales and stock availability.
- Analysing historic and current sales data to build and maintain forecasts.
- Working closely with sales, product & procurement teams to help manage inventory and stock flow.
- Reviewing stock across three warehouse locations to optimise stock utilisation across all territories.
- Raising purchase orders in-line with demand and forecasts, maintaining current availability dates within the ERP system
General
- Dealing with ad-hoc enquires from sales and customer service teams.
- Conduct regular housekeeping of key product attributes.
- Support the Procurement & Inventory Manager in all other operational duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a supply chain role.
- Practical experience with ERP software (SAP or NAV ideal)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Pragmatic & efficient with good analytical skills
