Job Title: MEP Project Manager Location: Site - Milton Keynes Remuneration: £66-£ 70k Type: / staff role Company: Main or Ideal Start: September 2023 Insight: Projects range 60 million, with M+E element average circa 25 million plus. You'll solely involved in this project part of the delivery team reporting to the Project Manager. The company has UK coverage, with multiple offices in various regions. The initial focus will be on this job, future pipeline is in both Midlands and home counties and London regions. Job Responsibilities: Conduct risk assessments and identify risks. Assist in creating O&M manuals. Ensure subors adhere to safety protocols. Contribute to project reporting and attend meetings. Implement production controls for monitoring and improving performance. Inspect and report on M&E works. Conduct snagging of M&E installation. Follow company's quality, environmental, and safety standards. Cooperate on health and safety matters. Identify repeat business opportunities. Maintain relationships with external parties and promote teamwork. Ensure department operations align with health and safety policies. Support team development and provide feedback. Qualifications/Experience: Minimum 5 years industry experience. Member of relevant professional body. Working towards MCIOB/CIBSE. Strong design/ Planning Exp Proficient in Microsoft programs. Familiarity with company policies and health and safety requirements. Experience in complex construction or built environment businesses. Project planning and management skills. Commitment to continual learning and improvement. Experience working for Main ors Competencies: Commercially astute with construction knowledge. Self-starter with initiative and autonomy. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Detail-oriented and organised. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure. Strong relationship-building skills.
