Permanent (Band 5 RMN) - CAMHS - Young People's Home Treatment Team
North East London Foundation Trust are looking to recruit a Mental Health Nurse, who will provide effective and efficient management of delegated resources within the Young Person's Home Treatment Team (YPHTT), which is a 24 hour crisis provision within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
Vaccination as a Condition of Deployment (VCOD) for Healthcare Workers
Candidates offered a role with North East London NHS Foundation Trust, who are aged 18 and over and who will have direct, face to face contact with service users as part of their role will be required to evidence that they have received a complete course of an approved COVID-19 vaccine, subject to limited exceptions, by no later than 1 April 2022. This will include front-line workers, as well as non-clinical workers not directly involved in patient care but who nevertheless may have direct, face to-face contact with patients, such as receptionists, ward clerks, porters and cleaners.

The post holder will work within a well established nursing team to deliver best practice care to young people. The post holder will be required to work shifts, 8am-4pm, 2pm-10pm and 8am-10pm.
YPHTT work with young people and their families /carers, who are aged 12-18 years; YPHTT is a full MDT service that is effectively a ‘hospital at home’ working adjacent to the inpatient unit. The team encourages re-integration back into communities, school and homes.
COVID-19 Vaccination
We continue to encourage all staff to ensure that they have been double vaccinated and received their booster. We recognise that taking the vaccine provides the best defence against COVID 19 for our patients, our staff, and their families.
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High-Cost Area Supplement - London
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436).
